Isaac, the son of Abraham and Sarah, was a key patriarch in the Bible. He was born miraculously in their old age as the child of promise. Isaac married Rebekah, and they had twin sons, Esau and Jacob. He was known for his obedience to God, including when Abraham was tested to sacrifice him. Later in life, Isaac was a peaceful man who re-dug his father’s wells and blessed Jacob over Esau, shaping the future of Israel.
